I believe that this is the 14th book by Mr. Leadbeater that I have read, and I can say without any hesitation at all that they just keep getting better!In the earlier books of the Drake series, Mr. Leadbeater did a great job in introducing and developing his characters and their interrelationships. As the episodes progressed, the focus clearly shifted to the adventures at hand. "The Last Bazaar" is no exception, and I very much enjoyed not only the fast pace and enthralling twists, but also the fact that the focus of the book did not anchor itself on any one character, but rather continually shifted from one to another in a manner which shifted the view of the reader from the veiwpoint of one character after another. I really enjoyed this approach!
I am definitely looking forward to Mr. Leadbeater's upcoming releases!

Great pace. One of the best in the series. Ended too soon.
Love the characters. They are why I keep reading.
The was an excellent venue, survival from man or beast was unpredictable.
For story line details read other reviewers. I have read the whole series and have enjoyed the time away from reality immensely. Mr Leadbeater is a great story teller!
Another in the series. This one doesn't have the team chasing artifacts or legends. This is pursuit of a bad guy, which puts them in the hunt for an even "badder" guy. However, only partial resolution of the situation, leading to the next novel in the series.
I just can't seem to stop reading this series of books, really enjoying reading these stories, with the team splitting up in the stories to undertake different areas of investigation and then coming back together at crucial times to save the rest of the spear team, looking forward to number 13.
He's done it again! David Leadbeater introduced us to another fabulously complex character (Kenzie) in The Last Bazaar. I can't wait to see what she gets up to in the next episode. Once again, David has left us teetering on the edge of our seats when this story ended.
When I started the series I thought there were going to be 10 episodes and wondered if they'd keep my attention right to the end. Now I'm hoping David stretches it out to 20 books. I can't wait for number 13 - I'll be getting onto as soon as I finish this review to pre-order.
This author is the real deal, I only give it 4 stars because it's not for the deep reader or the reader that is going to look for structure, grammatical errors and so on. It's for the reader that needs a good easy faster paced book without the heavy brow crunching, thought provoking, I just read the best book of my life experience. I do give it a 5 star review for what it is and you should read all of his series, he really knows how to keep a reader interested. ENJOY
Matt Drake and gang visit an unreal arms bazaar and wreck havoc. This book was amazing. In one of the most dangerous jungles, Leadbeater sets the stage for a big arms auction. The best quality of a fiction author has to be his ability to make the impossible seem possible. And David has it in abundance.
And needless to say the characters in this book again dont disappoint. Matt Drake, Torsten Dahl, Alicia Myles and co are as deadly in the books, as they are entertaining.
